Highlands & Islands Equality Forum

The aims of the Highlands & Islands Equality Forum are:

• To raise awareness of Equality issues throughout the Highlands & Islands
• To react to any requests for information, advice, training and general support
• To develop and extend the existing Training Programme to establish new packages and trainers
• To develop a plan of priorities for research into Equality issues as pertinent to the Highlands & Islands
• To provide support to the forums and all organisations in the public and voluntary sector
• To foster a culture of networking between agencies in the Highlands & Islands
