Amounts awarded: The Investing in Ideas programme will distribute small amounts of up to £5,000, to allow communities to carry out research, feasibility studies, get professional advice and run consultative events. The other programmes have each been given a minimum guaranteed investment, but this will be flexible according to demand, so funding limits have not been set.

Amounts awarded: There are no minimum or maximum donations. The Trust does operate a small grant scheme for smaller charities to apply for one-off donations of up to £5,000 to support a particular project or activity.
The Trust prefers to offer a contribution towards the total funds required for either a capital or a revenue request. Core funding or specific project costs will be considered and may be for a maximum period of 3 years. For example revenue donations average between £5,000 and £10,000 a year and capital donations may be up to 10% of total costs.

Small grants for young people who have bright ideas to help their own community.
Amounts awarded: The Young Scot Action Fund distributes small grants, up to £200 for individuals and up to £750 for groups, six times a year to Young Scots aged 15 - 26 years.

The Scottish Arts Council (who are the main funding body for the arts in Scotland) and Young Scot have teamed up to offer young people the opportunity to follow their artistic dreams and fund their creative talents. Examples of costs that the grants could cover: travelling to an audition; advertising a performance; hiring a rehearsal space; buying props, costumes or equipment; funding an art exhibition.
Amounts awarded:  The Scottish Arts Council Young Scot Action Fund is able to award £200 to individuals or £750 to groups of young people aged 12 to 26.
